Catching Up Since the Move... (are you on my e-newletter list?)

It's been a while since I posted on this blog. I have been playing catch up since closing the gallery. It was very hard to do, with such a mixture of emotions. But, we accomplished a lI have been reading and working on a lot of research about social networking and learning about the "Networked Blogs" app in Facebook and wish I had seen it earlier. (Perhaps when I was posting regularly it was not available yet?) I think now that I have this networked through facebook it will be more visable. I have been trying to figure out what do to with what I started with my gallery's following now that I do not have a store front. I do see a need and am trying to figure out how to meet it in our area, for a while I thinking about doing a 'gallery to you' service. I was considering making deliveries within Brooksville/Spring Hill area for orders that are placed on our website and by email requests...I am also thinking of putting some of the work I have at a local shop on Deltona Blvd.
I will figure it out as time goes by. In the meantime I will be doing some local things periodically and staying in touch with our e-newsletter. If your not already on my list, please sign up at the link for this post and you'll always know what is coming up in the schedule. So far the two events you can find me at are: Art Walk at the Market on Main, April 17, 2010, in Downtown Brooksville, and Art in the Park at Tom Varn Park, Brooksville, FL the first weekend of May. This show is run by the Brooksville Fine Art Council. I will figure out some other venues as time goes by. In the meantime, my phone, email and website remain the same.

For past fans of the gallery. I would love any feedback of which artists you liked the most to continue to see new work or purchase their pieces for future gifts. I have limited space in my studio now so I will not be able to carry as many of the artists as I used to due to where I would keep all the inventory. Any feedback on this will help me know what to keep on hand when possible.

Have a great spring!
